June Litter Pick Haul

Posted on June 4, 2017June 10, 2017 by admin

Despite a modest turn-out of 10 volunteers for our first litter pick on Sunday 4th June, we managed to collect an impressive haul of litter. We targeted some of the worst roads, fanning out from Kenley Station. Croydon Council’s Don’t Mess With Croydon team provided bags, gloves, pickers and tabards, and after a safety briefing, off we went. Together we collected 15 bags of litter in under 2 hours. A huge thanks to all those who took part.

Our next litter pick is on Sunday 9th July, meeting at Kenley Station car park at 10am – we hope you will join us and Clean Up Kenley!
