Moorings Surgery Patient Participation Group

Posted on November 28, 2015 by admin

Information from Elizabeth……

Working group to set up a new PPG

Another patient and I met with Dr. Fiona Collins and Mrs. Sue Simpson, the Practice Manager, to discuss getting the PPG up and running again.

We applied for membership of N.A.P.P,  the National Association for Patient Participation, which gives access to help and information to set up and run an effective PPG.  This has now come through so we would like to hear from any other patient who would be interested in forming a working group.

Please email themooringsppg@gmail.com if you would like to join the working group or would like to find out more.

 What is a PPG?

Information about what a PPG is and  a video on best practice for PPGs can be found here: https://croydoncc.wordpress.com/2015/05/07/croydons-patient-participation-groups/

 Updates

Although our PPG is not officially running at the moment, I have been attending the Croydon PPG network meetings to keep up to date with PPG matters in Croydon.

There are occasional notices about consultations and meetings relating to healthcare in Croydon and the NHS, which I plan to post from this account to keep you informed until the PPG is set up and running

Kind regards

Elizabeth
