Local Issues

(See also Planning, Nuisances, Fly-tipping, Litter, Crime)

Kenley is fortunate that it is generally a very pleasant and peaceful ward of Croydon. Apart from planning and over-development, our local issues are mainly annoying rather than dangerous or life-threatening. That said, tolerating bad behaviour or criminal activity is not an option for KENDRA.

We urge all residents to report illegal activity immediately to the police.

Lo

Residents can also report anti-social incidents such as fly-tipping on the LOVE CLEAN STREETS app.

Download LOVE CLEAN STREETS for Apple or Android devices.

You can also call Croydon’s environmental team on 020 8726 6200.

Croydon Council should be able to deal with other issues such as:

  • Abandoned Cars & Car Disposal
  • Dustbins & Wheeled Bins
  • Graffiti
  • Noise
  • Pollution
  • Poor Roads & Pavements
  • Street Lighting

If residents cannot get help or are unable to contact Croydon Council, your local elected councillors hold a Drop-In Surgery once a month at Kenley Memorial Hall or contact them via email (details here). KENDRA members can contact the committee who can take up any general problems on their behalf.

We also hold LITTER PICKS. If you would like to be contacted about the next one please email litter@kenleyra.org.uk or keep an eye out for notifications on this website.
