KENDRA will hold its Autumn General Meeting on Tuesday 6th October at the Kenley Memorial Hall. There will be a short drinks reception at 7.15pm before the meeting starts at 7.30pm.
There will be a special presentation from Roger Packham from the Bourne Society on Victorian Kenley. During the Victorian era Kenley was a tourist destination with day trippers coming to see the pleasure gardens and take in the fresh country air.
There will be some KENDRA business to attend to and our local Councillors, Ola Kolade and Gayle Gander will be on hand to answer questions from members. The Metropolitan Police will have a representative to inform us about local crime and law and order issues.
