You can’t vote for us, but you can join us.
We don’t get involved in party politics. We’re more interested in doing the practical things that need our attention. Litter, for example.
We have served as a voice for our community for over 50 years.
KENDRA (Kenley & District Residents’ Association) is a non-profit, non-political, volunteer-run organisation formed in 1970 to protect, enhance, and represent the interests of residents in Kenley.
With roughly 1,000 members, we focus on fighting inappropriate planning applications, managing local issues like public transport, traffic and crime, and enhancing community life, including maintaining and protecting local green spaces. We support local good causes and do practical things that benefit Kenley.
As a member you’ll receive three issues of KENDRA magazine delivered to your home, access to our weekly planning emailed newsletter, and the right to attend all our monthly committee meetings and General Meetings in April and October.
More than this, you will be part of a local association which tries to resolve local issues and give a voice to residents. We have regular contact with our elected councillors who work with us to highlight local issues and resolve problems.
