434 Bus Timetable Update

Posted on June 3, 2025June 3, 2025 by pk

Transport for London has now published the revised timetable for the 434 route. There has been some confusion, not least from TfL themselves, who had shown an incorrect route on their publicity information.

As the ‘upper’ Kenley part of the route has no bus stops and is hail-and-ride, no published timetable is available.

The following times are for weekdays.

Buses to Caterham arrive in Hayes Lane at around 25 and 55 minutes past the hour and are scheduled to arrive at the Kenley Hotel at 01 and 31 minutes past, varying slightly through the day. The last bus to Caterham is about 8.20pm from Hayes Lane.

Buses to Purley arrive in Hayes Lane at 20 and 50 minutes past the hour to Purley and are scheduled to arrive at Purley Cross on the hour and 30 minutes past, again varying slightly through the day. The last bus to Purley is about 7.50pm from Hayes Lane.

The Hayes Lane times are approximate and subject to traffic conditions. See full timetable below:
