Litter Picks & Street Champions

Posted on May 19, 2025May 19, 2025 by pk

Residents will know that KENDRA holds regular monthly litter picks in partnership with Croydon Council’s Street Champions initiative. These picks happen on a chosen Sunday every month. We’re always pleased to welcome anyone who can give up some time for clearing litter.

Sunday doesn’t suit everyone. If you would like to take part but can’t make Sundays, then why not sign up to be a Street Champion and have your own kit courtesy of Croydon Council? You can pick litter when it suits you. The only commitment you have is to inform the Litter Co-ordinator, Tracey, about the litter you have collected. That’s it.

If you are interested in becoming a Street Champion or would like to know more about our Litter Picks then please contact litter@kenleyra.org.uk or Tracey Tracey.Bellamy@croydon.gov.uk

Our next Litter Pick is on Sunday 29th June. We meet at 10am at Kenley Station Car Park. All kit is provided. Picks last up to two hours or whatever you can manage. Please check out Keep Britain Tidy’s safety advice for beginners.
