Kendra events postponed

Posted on March 20, 2020February 11, 2021 by pk

AGM – maybe May?

It’s no surprise that KENDRA’s AGM has been postponed again – but we hope we can reschedule it for late Spring or early Summer. Tuesday 25th May has been ‘pencilled in’ as a target date and might even take place as a virtual meeting, technology permitting. We will of course let residents know as soon as this is confirmed.

KENDRA MEETINGS – Have your say!

Our committee meetings continue as monthly online Zoom meetings – rather than in person at the Memorial Hall. If you have any issue you would like to be raised, please send an email to chairman@kenleyra.org.uk so that it can be considered for the agenda. Items of a planning nature will, in future, be dealt with at our Planning Sub Committee rather than a full Committee Meeting.

LITTER PICK – pick your own?

No Kendra litter picks have been scheduled but we are keen to restart them as soon as it’s safe to do so. Keep Britain Tidy has set a date for a ‘bigger and better’ Great British Spring Clean – 28 May to 13 June 2021 and we hope that Kendra litter picks can be arranged as part of that event.

Some residents carry out their own independent picks, our thanks to them. As always we urge great care to be taken especially with potentially hazardous items – including discarded masks and gloves.

We will let residents know further details through the Kendra Newsletter
