On Sunday 9th November at 1.30 pm. the wreath laying ceremony on Remembrance Sunday will take place at the RAF Kenley Tribute on our historic and famous fighter airfield.
Everyone is welcome to attend and to pay their respects to all those who gave their lives in the defence of our country. RAF Kenley played a particularly important role in the Battle of Britain.
It will be led by Councillor Mike Crane, Chairman of Tandridge District Council. Other representatives include the Deputy Mayor of Croydon, The Shadow Home Secretary Chris Philp MP, Metropolitan Police, KENDRA, Kenley Airfield Friends Group, RAFA, The RAF Kenley Tribute Committee, Local Councillors, 450 Kenley Squadron Air Cadets and 615 VGS Glider Squadron.
