The Council have been working with the Environment Agency to understand the causes of the regular flooding at the Kenley Lane / Welcomes Road intersection and develop potential mitigation options.
The outcome of this process is that they now understand the flood risk and the mechanisms which lead to the flooding we have seen in the past. They have also developed some mitigation options to reduce flood frequency and severity.
