Humps for Hayes Lane

Posted on July 8, 2025July 10, 2025 by pk

Nine new speed humps have been installed on the narrow north section of Hayes Lane. These have been greeted with some scepticism, as several members have said that speeding was not a particular problem due the the narrowness, two way traffic and poor visibility along this part of Hayes Lane.

Nonetheless we have them. There are several other places along Hayes Lane that would have benefitted from a ‘sleeping policeman’ or two, where there is a real danger to residents, but they are too expensive to install. These were installed by means of the Kenley Good Growth Fund.

Only by being involved locally can you have your views and wants recognised. Otherwise things happen that don’t benefit you or Kenley in general. Join KENDRA. Join our committee. Get involved.
