The deadline to nominate green spaces in the borough is 22nd July. The council is asking residents to identify green spaces that they use as an amenity. Evidence and Evaluation forms must be submitted by this date.
However, residents’ groups are suspicious that Croydon Council is trying to find evidence that the local green spaces are being used by the local communities, and if no evidence is forthcoming, then there is the risk that they will be re-assigned for housing.
