The 7th Purley Cubs have made five bug hotels for Wattendon Pond. The Cubs presented them to KENDRA on 10th December. They will provide shelter for overwintering insects, and give year round accommodation for an array of invertebrates such as solitary bees and wasps. The bug hotels are part of a scheme to provide shelter for a variety of insects and wildlife around the pond area.
