Although TfL published their notices about the disruption to the 434 and 439 bus services, they gave the impression that the 434 would run normally to the upper most reaches of Kenley before 8am and after 4pm.
However, as far as the 434 is concerned, that has not happened. There are no buses running from Purley to Kenley via Higher Drive and Hayes Lane. Park road is impassable at the bottom.
We are sorry for this misinformation, but reading the TfL notice, that’s what it says.
