Kenley Airfield Heritage Day

Several thousand visitors attended the Heritage Day at Kenley Airfield, on Sunday 16th August, to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the Battle of Britain. Despite the heavy cloud cover, a Spitfire and a Hurricane flew over the former RAF base to the delight of the crowd, some of whom were Royal Air Force veterans.

No White Lines on A22

Residents may have noticed the lack of white lines on the recently resurfaced junction of the A22 at St. James’s Road. Do you have a view on the efficacy, or otherwise, of not replacing white lines?  Please contact vicechairman@kenleyra.org.uk
